I- drive conveyor could be huge success.

Just got my hands on one of the first sample units of the I-Drive belt conveyor from Dorner. It's so compact and versatile that I think this could be the way all light duty belt conveyors are made in future. I plugged it into the wall at home with the transformer supplied, it's just like a laptop would use and away we go! The motor is mostly located inside the frame, just a small cover is seen which houses the controls. The depth of the cover is no more than the frame depth. The conveyor is reversible, and it has a variable speed controller on board too. It's quite remarkable!

Black anodised profiles of vision systems

Been selling quite a lot of the pre anodised black aluminium profile recently. These are nifty for vision systems and camera systems where the presence of reflective light interferes with the machine operation. These aluminium extrusion types have a matt black anodised finish, better than having the profiles painted or powder coated, a bit more expensive than standard profiles but worth it to avoid the hassle.
