We were sent some photos this week form a group of rocketeers who had used the benefits of aluminium profiles to make their launch pad more reliable. As you can see in the photos the steel base had 3 aluminium profiles bolted to it and the slots in the profiles provided the guidance for the rocket's fins in the initial launch stage. Another interesting use of the product, but not a big sales opportunity we fear!

Using a Flexmove plastic chain conveyor to transport smaller parts? Sometimes it can be a problem to transfer between the end of one conveyor and the start of another. One solution is to run the two chain conveyors next to each other and push the product across one belt and onto the other, but where space is tight and the chance of product to product contact is not a problem, these small transfer roller units are useful. Lineshaft conveyors for lingerie line!

Now keep calm, but this week we sold a 28M lineshaft conveyor system to a lingerie distributor. (Had to look up that spelling!)

The line shaft conveyors will be used to transport boxes in their new warehouse. With high weight capacities and zero back pressure, these are very adaptable conveyors. Maybe if the rubber bands used to power the rollers wear, some elastic might be easy to find as a temporary repair!
